Clothing at the centre

Please do not send children in good clothing as the children engage in a wide range of activities and clothes may become dirty.

The best clothes you can dress your child in are clothes which enable uninhibited play as well as being comfortable and easy for your child to manipulate for toileting purposes.

Children should be dressed according to climate.

Loose fitting clothing that protects as much of the children's skin as possible during outdoor play.
Clothing that cover the shoulders, with collars, and sleeves that are at least elbow length.

For example, light cotton clothing that will provide protection from the sun and sandals are best in summer
(no thongs or singlet tops, shoulders need to be protected from the sun )

In cooler months, warmer clothing with layers that can be taken off as the day warms up are most appropriate.
Whilst every care is taken, we will not accept liability for loss or damage.

We discourage children from bringing superhero outfits as these can get damaged or lost and may lead to aggressive play.

All items must be clearly labelled with your child’s name.

Things to do

Parents are encouraged to apply SPF 30+ broad spectrum water resistant sunscreen to children before coming to the Centre for the day, or to apply sunscreen to children upon arrival.
Sunscreen may be applied by the Centre staff when required unless you prefer your child to use a specific brand.

Make sure you pack spare sets of clothing and underwear and dress your child according to the weather.
